Senior Product Manager · B2B SaaS & Enterprise Products

Hi, I’m Jena.
I turn complex business problems into products customers use.

I’m a Senior Product Manager with six years of experience building B2B SaaS products in a startup environment and scaling them to support complex enterprise operations. My work spans inventory and purchasing, recipe costing and menu engineering, sales reporting, accounting, cost-of-goods-sold analytics, and enterprise administration for single-location restaurants and multi-unit groups. I turn customer insights into product decisions that simplify daily work, partnering closely with design and engineering from discovery through launch and learning.

03 / What I bring

Tenacious about problems.
Thoughtful about solutions.

I’m tenacious, organized, and deeply invested in the work. Here’s how that shows up: staying close to customers, bringing clarity to the team, and following the evidence as we learn.

Product strategy and prioritization

At Back Office, I led the vision for making our product enterprise-ready. I presented strategy to executives and ran quarterly workshops where business and development teams scored proposed work on impact and effort. I came prepared with priorities tied to the quarter’s objectives and helped the group decide where to invest.

Cross-functional leadership

My products overlapped heavily with accounting and reporting, so working closely with other product managers was a big part of my job. I brought the right people into discussions, worked through dependencies, and helped everyone understand what we were doing and why.

Customer discovery and relationships

I managed our customer advisory board and regularly led research interviews. Those relationships helped me understand what was working, what wasn’t, and what customers needed next. I used AI to synthesize interviews and stakeholder conversations and identify themes to investigate further.

Discovery and delivery leadership

I involved my tech lead, QA lead, and designer early so they understood the business problem firsthand. We met weekly to work through designs and requirements. I led sprint planning, daily standups, and weekly backlog refinement in Jira, helping the team clarify priorities and resolve blockers.

Technical product judgment

I’m comfortable getting into the details with engineering and architecture, from multi-unit data structures to POS and accounting integrations. I also built AI-assisted prototypes to explore solutions, including one that proposed accounting mappings for POS data, with outputs reviewed by accounting experts.

Product analytics and learning

When the reporting I needed wasn’t available, I used Claude and database queries to investigate product usage. After inventory customization launched, I analyzed adoption, reopen rates, and customer feedback to assess the release and guide what we prioritized next.

Jena was part of our product team at Back Office where I had the opportunity to collaborate with her directly, and I would highly recommend her to any organization looking for a strong product manager.

During her time with us, her responsibilities grew from building SMB features to taking on increasingly complex enterprise capabilities. Her work was an important part of our ability to move upmarket and serve larger customers.

One of Jena’s biggest strengths is her willingness to challenge assumptions and ask the tough questions. She brings fresh perspectives to the table and isn’t afraid to respectfully push back when she sees a better path. At the same time, she is highly collaborative and very effective at bringing stakeholders together and building alignment across teams.

Jena is also very good at turning ambiguity into action. She brings structure to complex problems, develops a clear path forward, and follows through. She is process-oriented but doesn’t let process get in the way of progress.

She would be a tremendous addition to any product organization, and I would gladly have her on our team again.

“She is curious, collaborative, and willing to dig into hard problems, but she also knows how to keep a team focused on the goals that matter.”

I had the pleasure of working with Jena at Buyers Edge Platform, and one of the things I appreciated most was watching her grow into an increasingly confident and capable product leader.

Jena brings tremendous energy to her work and pairs it with a strong commitment to delivering real customer value. During our time together, I watched her take on increasingly complex problems, grow in her ability to independently own and drive meaningful work, and become particularly skilled at navigating difficult stakeholder conversations without losing sight of the outcomes we were trying to achieve.

She is curious, collaborative, and willing to dig into hard problems, but she also knows how to keep a team focused on the goals that matter. Jena grew tremendously during the time we worked together, and I would happily work with her again. Any product organization would be lucky to have her.
